What is Respite Care?
Caregiver burnout is a real thing. Being entrusted with taking care of another person full-time, whether it be a member of your own family or someone else’s family can be taxing.
Whether you are the primary caregiver for your loved one or someone else you have trusted is, it is nice to give either yourself or that person a break from time to time to rest, recuperate, and recharge the proverbial batteries.
Respite care from Independence Home Health allows either yourself or your full-time caregiver to take some time off without any interruption of the home care that your loved one needs.
Our respite caregivers will come in and lend a hand for as long as you need whether it be a few hours, a few days, or an extended period of time.

In order to make sure there is as little noticeable change as possible, we will also stay in constant communication with both you and your loved one’s full-time caregiver and alert you both in the event that anything occurs that may be an issue.
